I was wondering what time to do the Olympians go back to the depot in the evening? I thought it would be around 18.00 at this time of year, although obviously they're all on different routes and finish at different times. The reason I'm asking is that on Friday night as I went out I saw an Olympian pulling into Rotherham interchange at about 19.20 (couldn't get any more details on it though as it was too far ahead of my bus) and then saw another one still in service at about 19.35 on the 17 to Meadowhall. I was a little surprised to see two of them still running at that time of night.

I have also noticed this, at one point due to vandalism in rotherham they were not allowed out after 18:00, and only b6 buses and b10ms were allowed out, with the odd low floor buses, also worth noting in rotherham the only buses to go out after 18:30 have to have the driver protection on the cab, (except the x78 for some reason)
Also they have started to come out at night again, and on sundays and not jyst on the x78, but on the 66/17 etc, especially 34207 which is equipped with 12 cctv cameras!.

true at one time they were very rare to be seen in the evenings, im sure their are some midland road drivers on here, who could tell us why they are starting to appear in the evenings again.

the only reason they are out at night,is if it gets changed over during the day ,and someone forgets to take it of in the evening.such as last night as one was on rte 42.
