Just for information The Latest issue of Buses Focus( Jan/Feb 07) is worth buying as it covers the privatisaton of the bus industry over the past 20 years. The story behind SYPTE to Mainline is covered. The last issue(Nov/Dec 06) was also a good read as that covered deregulation. The next issue will cover the annual review of the past year.

Why? (Genuine question because I haven't seen it publicised anywhere else, unless I missed it in the last one!)

The editor says that Ian Allan has been considering the future of its marginal magazines, and the next issue is likely to be the last one in the current format, so I guess it doesn't sell that well, which is a shame. The next issue will cover 'The Best of British'.

I just wish another publisher would have another go at magazines. I used to love Bus & Coach Preservation before Ian Allan got its hands on it and wrecked it. Something along those lines would be good.
