It seems that Veolia have acquired at-least another 2 plain white Solos for their South Yorkshire work as on Saturday they had 4 on the A1 & 1 on the 173 when previously they only had 3 such vehicles, I assume that is why the Dunn-Line Dart & Veolia livered Solo's have vanished. Also a couple a weeks ago while in doncaster i noticed what looked like a Marshall bodied Merc Benz mini in full Dunn-Line livery on the 173, First time Ive seen this bus in S.Yorks whether or not its still around i don't know as it seems they send buses upto North Anston from elsewhere when required as opposed to keeping a set amount of spare vehicles there hence the various different buses that keep appearing & vanishing.

I've been on P245XDA which is a Merc Vario with Alexander bodywork on the 174 route. In Dunn-Line livery.

When it comes to the 173/174 from what ive seen one usually has a red vario merc on and the other has a marshall bodied merc in dunn-line livery. Also today i saw a Merc in rotherham interchange in dunn-line livery came straight in behind a A1 and followed it back on didn't stop so dont know what it was doing wasn't a marshall bodied one looked like a alexander bodied one certainly never seen one of this type in south yorkshire before.

To add to the above about 3 saturdays ago in Sheffield there was a Veolia MCV evolution in University of Nottingham livery in the Interchange wasn't in service and havent seen it since so i assume when a bus breaks down the various mercs that have been seen are sent up to fill in.

Oh and don't forget the Gold liveried Dart MPD demonstrator in use just before Xmas complete with internal tinsel!
Usual quality operation with no destination blinds (think it said Dunn-Line) and two sets of legal lettering - neither related to South Yorkshire.
