Unusual workings seen today: TMT: 1 x Plaxton Primo on Service 65 (1125 & 1555 from Meadowhall) I thought that was a Centro rather than a Primo? Cetrainly the 0900 ex Buxton was YJ07JWW, and the next bus from Meadowhall should be the same unless there is an interwork with the 261 or something. (which today was YN55KMV)

Indeed it was a Centro appologies about that, ill correct the message now. In regards to the 0900 journey from what i read on another group the bus starts at Tideswell and passengers from buxton have to catch the 66 and then change onto the 65 in Tideswell, whether thats the practise still i dont know, however it does explain the very very poor reliability this journey can have.

I know i've said it before, and it'll probably get ignored again, but this thread is out of control.
It would be a useful record if it was smaller and more accurate. Indeed, it could even be a tool to use to improve allocations but i'm not going to trawl through 14 pages of posts.
Can we consider a new 'weekly' or daily report or sopmething. Even something by operator?

The weekly idea is a good one if people don't want to search through several pages I suppose.

I also agree on it been a good idea would make things easier to look at if you ever wanted to have a look at something more than once, as it would save having to trawl through everything and would probably make things more tidier and easier to read.
In regards to unusual workings today only seen one that being a 41 branded Gemini on Service 81. Another i saw but more of a unusual location was a TM plain white Centro operating straight down Albert Terrace Road, Upperthorpe down towards Penistone Road.

[FSY] S524 UAK - was on the 69
YV03 UOU - was also on the 69
Thats about it except for 2 evos being on the 229 today in rotherham.
I also agree with this new change maybe have a section for each operater, and then just post the unusual workings in that section etc.

I don't think the operator route would be a good one to go down as you'd probably lose the smaller ops threads whilst the First one would be overflowing.
A weekly thread would also have the advantage of having a finite renewal point.

i must admit the new weekly thread sounds interesting, someone could start a topic like this, each week, and then at the end of that week like you have sadi tom someone can finnish the topic off, maybe state unuasual workings w/c 1st april 2007 or something similar, and run the topic for 7 days before creating a new one for the week after, would also be easier to find out information from it.

Yes think we will be going with the new weekly topics, as that seems to be the best senario.
