Is this bus on loan or is it a permanent move to Doncaster, as it was on service 219 today, although the last time I spotted this vehicle it was in Sheffield working on service 52 around 2 weeks ago.

It was also used in Chesterfield most recently.
When the new 6 Chesterfield Enviro 300's arrive next month (if all goes to plan that is) then the remaining L - CCK B10M's should be sent over to Doncaster for the 219 service, so that the R - YWC Darts (from Manchester) can be withdrawn and scrapped (or used at another Stagecoach operation, if anyone wants them!).
L340 CCK is now unbranded with the advert for the Derbyshire B - Line card now.

Surely the logical thing would be to send the R-YWCs to Chesterfield to kill M-VJOs and N-MBWs (and K-SRHs if any remain)?

That would indeed seem a logical idea, the N-MBWs particularly have started to look a bit tatty inside. For reference the only K-SRH still about is 32118 I believe, noted on service 2 in Chesterfield yesterday.

Oops! posted on other thread saw K 700 DAO ON 219 today. Have also this week noted 2 of the L 340-3 B10's on 219 & that they have lost their LED's Blinds for Ye Olde Cardboard destination displays. Not sure but think they were L341 & 343 CCK.

Correct, 20441 and 20443 haven't got working blinds at present (or 20700 for that fact), but 20443's has never shown a correct destination since it arrived as far as I know. BTW, they are BrightTech flip dots, not LED's

I think it is 20701 K701DAO that has been/is still sat out of use at Shafton (I would have thought it would have replaced RTA damaged 20235, I'm guessing it has some sort of mechanical problem?). It's 20700, the one that's been used in Sheffield that is now at Donny
