60471 blew its engine yesterday on ecclesall rd at tea time. this explains why its been cutting out and acting strange all week. S&Hd to olive top park. dont know whats happening to it yet as engineering has been told not to spend lots on G/H/J B10Ms.

60608 will be having pedals fitted in the cab connected to rear wheels by a chain! ;D perhaps the radio pedal may have some use after all

60471 has been moved to the minipark prior to PVS coming for it. Shame to see this B10M go, would have thought even though they are the oldest, they would have remained in service longer than most B10M's due to the recent refurbishments by Mainline and the fact that they are the superior B10M's at Mainline. Sad day

Sad day They were a refurbishment that went wrong. 37 seats no good on most routes, And awkward to get seat cushions for. The refurbishments are 10 years old anyway.

Looks like 60480 (635) may have done its last as it had to be recovered off ringinglow road wednesday lunch with a blown engine. More steam smoke and oil coming out of filler than drax power station.
