Tram 116 Underfloor Refresh end of March/Start of April 2012 and Genting Wrap July 2012 Which year we in swfcforever? There was a question raised regarding whether it had underfloor refurb at the same time as its wrap. What swfcforever was saying was the dates of both of those events - indicating they didn't happen at the same time

Can't find the Tram advert thread. Tram 125 went into Service this morning, with EVERY window, except the Drivers Window's in a Teal Contravision Advert for Sheffield College Open Days in April. Above the Windows were Dark Blue Adverts for The Sheffield College.

Problematic/failed trams are very unusual, but it does seem to be happening a little more frequently recently - are they still suffering a fleet shortage?

Are you sure it's not just the driver?

Purple route is still on revised timetable i.e. not going to meadowhall mon-sat daytime, so i believe they're still short. Only by one tram though. Correct me if I'm wrong but only one of the two trams involved in the Shalesmoor crash have been redeployed. Then again, the new tram-trains are designed to help with that until their deployment on their designed route in (praise to the lord) 2017

The crash at Shalesmoor I believe will simply just have an effect on what happens when the timetable is rewritten.

What I wrote made sense to me but it actually came out a bit amibguous, but what I meant was the tram-trains in the mean time are designed to help with service, I didn't mean specifically the lack of trams due to Shalesmoor. But yeah the crash will mean IF they restore the full service on purple then there'll only be two to be used on other services at the time of the aforementioned timetable change

Above the Windows were Dark Blue Adverts for The Sheffield College. The contravision on the windows has now been removed however the dark blue adverts above the windows remain. All 24 operational trams now carry some vinyls about day / week / monthly tickets, one on each side of the tram per section, on the windows. The Childrens Hospital(?) plaster around the disabled area has been removed.

Pity about the childrens hospital charity vinyl being removed
