It got a lot of hammer when it was more than often the dedicated bus on the 25 for a long time. Saying that it was on the 25 at 6PM today, so must have made a full day on there, so can't be too unhealthy . I suppose the outiside lights could be on any bus, but the blinds on the YTC spec Solos have always been very dodgy, like the ones on MANs YR52YSY/Z.

Yes but 39627/8 have different blinds, and they play up a lot like on the 02/03 Solos. 39627 often has a dead band, or a totally blank one, and that's without mentioning the side/back ones. I think they are Bright-tecs, and were Tracky standard I imagine at the time (though the MANs were ex-demo), B7TLs YM02CLY/Z have them too, as does Omnidekka YN53PAO, they all seem to play up from time to time.

Saying that it was on the 25 . . i thought the bus normally on the 25 was 47271 not 47291 and if it was 47271 its a cool type of solo with a better type of engine for motorway's so dout it would be stick just speed

Normal 25 bus now seems to be either of the FX04s, most often 47272 FX02WFS.
But before these came, YN03ZXL 47291 was the regular allocation (before Stagecoach, and then with them until above Cummins powered buses arrived, which are as you say, far superior).
Before that when the 25 was B&D YS02WWE was the normal bus, and was painted in Barnsley and District Livery for it.
