Thursday 19/06/2008-I saw at least 6 First buses In Sheffield with a person in an hi-vi jacket sat on the side seat on B10BLE’s and looked like to be directing or training the driver. What’s this all about?

What’s this all about? If they were wearing orange vests then they are mentors that look after trainees for the first 2 weeks on the road. They get paid an extra £5 a day.

Captain are the olly on the 57/58 now unusal allocations now? Just want to no for future posting. Well!, on sheets olympian or B10M, recommended B10M due to trees etc, but depending on who books fleet out an odd olympian will pop up such as 30550 today. In meantime as there are more B10BLES now than B10Ms so some find there way onto 57/58s, 60624 today, and some go onto 1/2/33 when it is to remain step entrance operated. The end result is 30548/34246 on 11/12 when 2 B10BLEs off 1/2/33 could have gone on there to make allocation 100% low floor. Senior management most dipleased!. The routes due to go lowfloor when all B9s are here are indeed 57/58 and 77/77A/78.
