Spotted 4 yes 4 out of action yesterday from Doncaster all due to overheating, is this a major problem with these vehicles as non of the other fleet or other companies from what I saw yesterday seemed to have any problems and even the Rotherham B6BLE's were out in force yesterday!
Two were at Mexborough Bus Station, one in Rotherham Interchange and one at Warmsworth.

I suppose it was probably the hottest day of the year yesterday, and they haven't really had any 'exposure' to heat so far, so it could just be late 'teething problems'.

Or same as us, tiny engines with whacking great turbos, producing great heat and with hills around here no chance of keeping cool.

Chalk it up to the usual reliability problems of the MAN 18240s exacerbated by the hot weather. I've seen several of the ALX300s broken down and assume the E300s are the same.
