When did this vehicle move to Leeds from Rotherham and was it always intended for Leeds or did it just move to Leeds to keep all Alexander Olympians at Leeds with South Yorkshire keeping the Northern Counties ones?

Remember it well, on 21/24s etc, Best olympian south yorkshires had. Was it swapped for something?. Rings a bell just vague.

I know it was good but did not think it was that good! always been fond of 34206 personally, all the S - LLO batch are great and are in full First Group style. I know Midland Road had quite a few of these at the time with only 34234 been in service, the others were parked up on the side runway around the depot near the bus guideway (if that is still in place now) and still in full First London livery. When I first spotted this vehicle on the 7 I thought we actually had a ALX400 on the 7! as they have a very similar rear. It was a good vehicle and it was a shame to see it go as I rather liked the First London East interior with the Orange / Gold grabrails, Blue paneling and the moquette.

Shame then that it managed to look worse than a Dominator, despite carrying the same bodywork! It's that funny front grille...

It was a good vehicle and it was a shame to see it go as I rather liked the First London East interior with the Orange / Gold grabrails, Blue paneling and the moquette. Some of the S...LLO's were actually built with this moquette, but was hurridly changed upon the take over of Capital Citybus by First, as they wanted the corporate interior.
