Have to say great photos too - must admit I've seen loads of Diamond coaches around Sheffield recently, even saw one from Andrews of Tideswell today.

I seem to see a few Maxfields Coaches parked on Commercial Street outside Ponds Forge on Monday to Fridays. Ashley Travel also pak there sometimes. Thats were I saw Maxfields B530BML.

This afternoon at the Sign shop on Infirmary Road was Mercedes-Benz Minibus recieving Diamond Travel fleetnames. This is M635UCT, which was in Allover White.

I'd put up a pic of M635UCT but I'm not sure about the green one - they have recently bought L671PWT (MB/Optare). I saw Mick Kinsley filling it up at the petrol station on Tuesday but it was dark so I couldn't make out the colour. It looked greyish but may have been green (with a hint of orange street light)

Although a couple of minibuses and the odd one or two big buses get through (most notably the ex-SYPTE Leyland-DABs, some of which ended up competing with First in Bath). Locally to me Harrogate Coach Travel have an ex-Eastern Counties Mercedes-Benz Vario and Stephensons of Easingwold (my occasional employer) have a B10M/Plaxton with full First interior (oh dear!).

Incidentally, they do make all their buses available for preservation or export and there have been a few occasions of preservationists selling their ex-First buses back into service.

Whats the registrations of the Harrogate Coach Travel Merc and Stephensons of Easignwold B10M, please. Have you got a fleetlist of Stepehensons please, I am trying to find one of this operator.

Also back to around here, Linburg have a Ford Focus Engineers Van, registered AG04KRD.

Another 3 Operators, if you see them around:-
Rogerson (G&R Travel) of and Neilsons (Yeomans) of Sheffield and Smith & Whittaker (Saxon Travel) of Doncaster. Also there is a Boogiebus in Sheffield alot on Friday and Saturday nights up West Street (A jet black Minibus with Blue LED Lights)

My apologies Sean for the lack of recent photos. I've hardly had time due to family illness and work. I did go to Ashley Travel's depot but every single coach was out (typical!)

As for the other 3 I'll try my best - G&R keep their 2 coaches in a yard on Wensley Street, but every time I've been the gates have been locked. I see Nielsons' 2 midibuses around but usually when I'm driving, and I don't actually know where they keep the vehicles.

Nielson's are kept at '300 PENISTONE ROAD,SHEFFIELD,S6 2FU' according to VOSA.

Also in that general area (Hillsborough) are SB Travel at '20 BEDFORD STREET,SHEFFIELD,S6 3BT' with 3 vehicles, and 1 at 155 EYRE STREET,SHEFFIELD,S1 4QW. Think they're minibuses though.

Didn't have much joy there tyresmoke. 300 Penistone Road is a car sales showroom, and altough there's a yard round the back I've not seen Nielsons' minibuses there yet.

As for SB Travel, I think 20 Bedford Street is the old office of Abbey Taxis/Shefftax. If that's the case it's been demolished!

155 Eyre Street is the garage of Mayfair Taxis, so that's the most likely option.

You're right - SB Travel run minibuses. They're owned by Stuart Burgin. I'm not sure if he's any relation to the owners of Linburg, as they used to be called Burgin before they were reincarnated with a reshuffle of the name.

I did manage to upload a couple of new operators to the site though - Leo's Travel and Ian's Exec Travel.

I just noticed on Google Streetview, that a Woodside Coach was in G&R's depot on Wensley Street. I live 2 mins away and can see the back of the Yard from my house-didn't know what it was though . That said you can get around the back of the yard though.

Its at the bottom of Wensley Street on the right hand side.

It's C176EMU, although now repainted. That's the yard I said I could never get in - didn't know you could get round the back though!

I also noticed that G&R have a Volkswagen Transporter, which is on a Sheffield Taxi Plate.

Called in again at 300 Penistone Road during my lunchbreak today. Round the back I found two minibuses belonging to Rivelin Travel:

I did notice their two trailers there a few days ago. Looks like they use it now as well as their garage on Dutton Road.

Still no signs of Nielsens though
