That's not a lucky route - 37185 was involved in a fatal RTA last May, although it has returned to service, albeit at Rawmarsh rather than Chesterfield. It was in a compound in Derby for quite a while afterwards.
36459 did track again for a few days in late January, although it might just have been the ticket machine swapped to a different bus.

Was it a pedestrian, the driver, a passenger or passenger of another vehicle that sadly died in the RTA do you know please? RIP whoever it was.

If my memory serves my correctly, the fatal one being referred to was a bus vs motorcycle RTC. The motorcyclist unfortunetly passed away at the scene from their injuries.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-65649741I've not seen anything further so whether investigations are ongoing or what the outcome was I don't know. Are there any bus industry traditions or superstitions around vehicles involved in fatalities? I believe on the railway locos are sometimes renumbered after a crash for example.

In Mainline says, fitter Nigel Robinson was sadly crushed and killed at Greenland depot by 622 as he was scooched underneath it, testing the reversing equipment. A cleaner saw the bus parked out of position on the stack and reversed over him. Word is that no one felt comfortable driving the bus at Greenland after that, so it was swapped with 639. I suspect similar swapping has happened with this Stagecoach vehicle.

Unless you know what actually went off over that 24 hours and the industry wide changes it fetched about I'd be less inclined to suspect.
