...thanks for the comments guys , yes i will be at Aldwalke on the Open Day this Sunday (Sun 11) with the models alongside Mr Mallard with his superb collection of local models also. !

Just wants the large flap under the back and it would be mint. ...i've based mine on the '78-9 era , i think the full width rubber mudflaps (skirt) were fitted around 1980-1 as an experiment to cut down on wheelspray , and was also fitted to a few Metrobuses also ?

Excellent model Transit. The Flaps did go on some Mark1 Metrobuses, sure there are some pictures on here of them.

Hi, as I new member, do models of PTE buses with new owners count? I'm nearly finished this one of Eastern Scottish VV11, better known as 391, LWB391P Shortly I will be starting a conversion of various donor kits to produce 800, GWA800N, with Moffat & Williamson, a local independent operator up here in Fife.
