After begging , pleading and annoying for the release of this model , and sending plans, pics and details for nearly 3 years - record numbers of 51 are now already pre-ordered - and they were worried it would not sell !!! ;D ...I think the manufacturers may take more notice next time i suggest a model for production !!!!!!  |

...the model has now gone for casting into a resin kit , with an initial order for a total of 168 pre-ordered !!!!
...one of their best sellers already !

Wonderful Transit. The home-made screens are a vast improvement though for me it is the fine details (ie number blind askew, PAYE sign 'lit' and the period adverts) that give your models that final true-to-life touch. I hope you agree a plug is in order. For anyone who has not seen Transit's fine selection of hand finished bus models I recommend a visit to the Aldwarke open day on Sunday 11 December where Transit will be exhibiting along with another modeller, namely Flickr's Mr Mallard. |
