Hello All, I have attached 2 photo's of my model bus I am on with at the moment. It is a Mirror Image Model resin Volvo B10M-55 Alexander PS. As you might guess from the pictures, it is going into Yorkshire Terrier livery. So far I have carried the following work out on the vehicle: - Installed 2 sun roofs on the top of the vehicles, - Removed 2 front fogs lights from the front of the vehicle by sanding down and building it back up with Model Filler (minus the fog lights), - Removed the off-side radiator using Model Filler, - Painted off-side, near-side, front and top of vehicle (excluding the black rubber around the windows and the black fuel cap at rear). Jobs that need to be carried out still are: - Modify the rear window increasing it in height to reflect on the real version, - Paint the rear of the vehicle, - Add the minor paintwork details such as indicators, lights etc, - Start on the interior painting floors and applying seat covers (which will be on transfer paper), - Add fleet numbers, registration numbers and company titles to the exterior (will be done on transfer paper). What route will it be on? They were quite common on the 266 Barnsley-Rotherham.

I remember them being on 37/37A & 74/74A & all through the 2004 bus strike they were only on the 72's as they were the only buses that could cope with the loadings particularly at peak times.

The 72's to Wombwell etc were more often B6's though weren't they?

I seem to recall the B10M-55s being used on 72s (inc 72A) quite a while when the DAF SB220s were on the 74s. But when the DAF SB220s went to Holbrook for 52s, the B10M-55s become regulars on 74s.
I think Ecclesfield used them on anything, as they were regulars on 37s and 123s as well.

The back window is now modified and just needs painting. It will be done tomorrow hopefully. I have started painting the black around the windows now.
