Not suprised, it's been chucking it down for the last 2 days. Thankfully none of the museum buses have been out in it which I cleaned on Saturday

Looks like the Leeds area has borne the brunt of it this time round. I can personally testify that the River Aire is mighty high, and reports suggest it might burst its banks tonight. Already severe disruption to trains coming in and out of Leeds, which will only be exacerbated if the Aire floods, which will invariably give knock-on effects into South Yorkshire..

This is out of our patch. A1 has been closed for most of the day heading towards geordie land.

This is out of our patch. A1 has been closed for most of the day heading towards geordie land. Still closed by the looks of things. Closed from the A19 turn-off towards Teesside, to north of Darlington. Sunderland and Newcastle are accessible via the A19, but I can't imagine it's a fun drive to the north-east at the minute.

Things are getting back to normal in Barnby Dun. And trains between Doncaster and Newcastle were suffering delays.
