Hmmm roads where i am are ok and im in Mexborough. Remember they have primary and secondary routes and they ARE treated seen many times as I live on a secondary route.
Every time it snows we go through the roads haven't been gritted etc change the record they ARE treated!

Fair point unless the councils are doing them every hour in the night. Such low temps are going to cause issues with refreezing and they got treated everynight but if the RST is below -7 which is very possible during past week then salt is ineffective anyway. Cant really hammer the councils as they do treat roads but RST's out of there hands. * RST = Road surface Temprature for those who dont know what that is

Had no problems in Doncaster for where I work, all seemed well gritted from what I could tell. Sheffield wasn't too bad either but we had 2 coaches get stuck over there!
