Apologies for posting this here but I could not find a way to start a new thread. My question is a really basic one. I have never been abroad before or have any experience of airports. What I would like is some basic information about how airports work, ie, when flying from an airport on a package holiday what is the airport procedure. I have read holiday brouchures etc. and they talk of things like check in, on-line check in,luggage drop, airside etc. What is the exact procedure from arriving at the airport on say a bus or coach? What order are things done in?

Unfortunately if Peel get there way DSA will be closed and probably turned into Warehousing. They have done this before.
