There were a few services missing this morning due to multiple tram failures apparently. Anyone know the details of which trams failed where - presumably not another 399?

Bus broke down on West Street. Signal problems-bet its Infirmary Road/Flora Street and match at Hillsborough

Not directly related but I wonder if anyone knows how new rails are delivered to the system without disrupting the service. Obviously they must be moved at night but where there is no easy road access how do they get there and how are they unloaded?

That's what I imagined...except in some areas like that between Birley and White Lane there are places with no road access and I can't imagine the rails being manhandled but I suppose with sufficient man power that's a possibility.

Lorry, trailer, moved off at the closest suitable location and then moved by some big burly men to where they're needed, I'd assume.

I was passing Halfway terminus at 1-00pm and noticed that 107( I think that was its no.) had run into the rear of 123 which had sustained some damage. Engineers were crawling all around taking 'photos and looking carefully at the bogies. Services had been suspended and intending passengers diverted to the 120 bus.
