I understand that Bus services in South Ayrshire are in Chaos as Drivers depart & Buses pulled over for Emissions fears....
Ex Employers have lifted the lid on what they claim is a crisis that is gripping Stagecoach Ayr depot.... But the company denys the claims....
The bus network in Ayrshire is struggling as Drivers depart at least 35 in the last 12 months.. With issues with working conditions & drivers been brought in from as far a field as Wales & Newcastle... Also Buses are been pulled from the road over safety concerns.... The depot has been subject to a visit from the Driver & vehicle standards agency (DVSA) Over the last couple of months - with buses been pulled from the road because of defects.... Passengers have reported buses sporting liveries from from as far a field as Glasgow on Ayrshire streets..... Stagecoach deny they have problems with there fleet & say they are full capacity...... But then in early June stagecoach made one of its few apologies by tweeting Due to technical issues various services are subject to disruption.... We are sorry for any delays these may have been causing.....
Stagecoach has sparked anger after revealing swingeing cuts to services across Ayrshire with many taking there own action to save there bus services.... There as been consultations with communities across Ayrshire over cuts to services due to come into affect during August.....
