Hello, I have a live donor transplant coming up this year, and I'm a little concerned about the multiple check ups following surgery, as the hospital is an hour away by car (I don't drive, or know anyone with a car well enough to take me as often as needed) the train is too expensive, and the bus would mean a jolty long (1 1/2 hour) journey. How has everyone else coped with this issue? Please help I didn't find the right solution from the internet. Or join a forum where people give a toss about drivel like this. Have you tried Sheffield Forum? Sounds like it will be up your street.
