Route X78: Doncaster – Rotherham – Sheffield

There’s a new Sunday timetable to improve reliability – we’re operating an additional bus on Sundays to give journeys more time.

Keep an eye out for our new look vehicles on the X78 with USB & wireless charging and new tables upstairs – we’ll be revealing their full new look later in 2022.

Route 8/8A: Ecclesfield – city - Crystal Peaks

There’s a new Monday-Friday timetable to improve reliability. At peak times there’s a longer gap between some journeys to provide more time. We’ll be operating hourly in the evenings, Monday-Saturday

Route 10: Doncaster – Rotherham

There’s a new evening timetable, 7 days a week.

Route 83: Ecclesfield - Bents Green

We’ll be operating hourly Monday-Saturday evenings. During the day, Monday-Saturday we’ll have a new timetable to provide a bus every 20 minutes with Stagecoach.

Route 52A: Woodhouse - Wisewood or Loxley

Route 120: Halfway – city – Fulwood

We’ll have a revised timetable on these services to co-ordinate with Stagecoach. There’s no changes to the frequency.

Evening changes

These services will have new evening timetables on the days shown, now operating every hour.

Route 1A: Chapeltown - city – Hemsworth every day
Route 51: Lodge Moor - city – Charnock every day
Route 20: Hemsworth – city – Ecclesfield Monday-Saturday
Route 56: Nether Edge – Wybourn Monday-Saturday
Routes 97/98: Hillsborough – Totley Monday-Saturday
Routes 75/76: Batemoor/Jordanthorpe/Lowedges - city – Shiregreen Monday-Saturday
Route X5: Sheffield – Dinnington Monday-Friday

Route X78: Doncaster – Rotherham – Sheffield

Route 16: Doncaster – Balby

There’s minor changes to the Monday-Saturday timetable.

Route 19: Doncaster – Weston Road

There’s a revised timetable at school start/finish times, Monday-Friday to improve reliability.

Route 41: Doncaster - Scawsby [Circular]

There’s a new Sunday timetable to improve reliability, there’s no change to the frequency.

Routes 50/50B: Doncaster - Skellow

Route 51: Doncaster - Askern

On route 50 we’ll have a new Saturday timetable with minor changes to help with reliability. On route 50B there’s a new Sunday timetable, there’s no change to the frequency.

On Monday-Fridays, the 51 leaving Doncaster at 0530 will now leave at 0520 and operate 10 minutes earlier throughout the journey.

Route 54: Doncaster – Woodlands

There’s a new Sunday timetable to improve reliability, there’s no change to the frequency.

Routes 55/56: Doncaster - Rossington [Circular]

We’ll now be operating every 15 minutes Monday-Saturday daytimes – there’s a new timetable with longer journey times to improve reliability. There’s also a new Sunday timetable.

Route 64: Doncaster - Arksey [Circular]

There’s a new Sunday timetable to improve reliability, there’s no change to the frequency.

Routes 81/82: Doncaster - Armthorpe [Circular]

There’s a new evening timetable, 7 days a week and some small changes to the Sunday daytime timetable.

Route 87A: Moorends – Doncaster

On Monday-Fridays, the 0637 departure from Stainforth will now start from Moorends at 0634 and will operate as route 87, arriving in Doncaster slightly later.

(no Rotherham-specific changes yet, from what I can see)

So will the X78 be going red and yellow? Makes a lot of sense

Wouldn't that info be on Derbyshire forum if there is one not south yorkshire

Yorkshire Traction trading as Stagecoach to be precise.
Chesterfields network falls under Derbyshire County Council although some journeys into Sheffield on such as 43/44/50/80 would have some PTE funding.
