Changes to syts services starting 26th October 1986.
4 Firth park city millhouses now split at city southern section now numbered 3 run by EB northern section 4 run by GR.
13/14 city wisewood/loxley transferred to HE from GR.
14 Dronfield coal Aston chesterfield taken over from chesterfield transport worked by HY.
22 Hemsworth city Southey green.new variant of 20 replacing southern section of 33.
26 city Beauchief Eve and sun service reinstated after w/d in the April cuts.
27 city dyke vale road transferred to HY from EB.
31 city lower walkley transferred from EB to HE.
33 shirecliffe city Hemsworth completely altered to become owlerton ( herries depot) city Fulwood replacing SVC 88 transferred to He from EB.
35 city sandstone rd Eve and sun serv introduced.
40 city greystones Norton reduce to one city bound journey.
42 low edges city foxhill extended to grenoside.
49 city Wordsworth avenue lost to Sheffield and District diverted via deerlands avenue replacing 53.
50 city dore city terminus now CBS.ex Arundel gate.
53 low edges city parson cross amended to run via Southey green rd to ecclesfield.
54 city rivelin dams lost to Sheffield and District

73 Sheffield high green Full sun service introduced previously odd journeys only.

78 Sheffield high green 178 variant withdrawn.
80 Sheffield high green city terminus now CBS. 180 variant via grenoside withdrawn.
83/84 middlewood city greystones.83 now runs via greystones rd to Ecclesall in both directions.84 now becomes Roscoe bank city Ecclesall replacing 88 and no longer serving greystones.
86 Sheffield stannington dungworth. Eve and sun service and all dungworth journeys taken over by Sheffield and District.
87 city marchwood taken over by Sheffield and District.
88 Roscoe bank city Fulwood withdrawn replaced by 33 & 84.
91/98 Sheffield greengate lane circle transferred to Sheffield and District city terminus now flat street leaving only 79/89 at bridge Street.
96 city Darnell shepcote lane.shepcote lane journeys reduce d and renumbered 796 most run Darnell shepcote lane only sch journeys to brinsworth, previously unadvertised are numbered 696.



Rotherham and Doncaster syt service changes from 26/10/1986.

116 Rotherham Thorpe Healey Eve service replaced by double run on 266/267 to chapelfields.
121 Rotherham Sunnyside cedar drive.All journeys now run to cedar drive,instead of less than half.
122/123 Rotherham braithwell/ravenfield.all journeys now serve both villages as 122 ravenfiled served by double run.
130-133 Rotherham brinsworth/catcliffe/Treeton.
130 Brinsworth via catcliffe is withdrawn.131/133 are now circulars.131 serving brinsworth and catcliffe ,133 the reverse.All Eve and sun journeys run outward as 131 to catcliffe (Waverly view), returning as 133s.On 132,short journeys to Waverly view are introduced m-s.

145 Rotherham maltby Staunton.This once daily service introduced in 1983 was taken over by a new operated,Glynn pegg productions,who introduced a much improved minibus service.Demand was such that pegg basically a PR firm whose proprietor was concerned that his home village might lose its service.couldnt cope and syt took over again from 01/12/86 with 5 m- s journeys.

161 Doncaster Highfields taken over by east midland.
172 clay lane hexthorpe extended from clay lane via church lane to Eden Thorpe centre m-s.
182 Doncaster Armthorpe.extension to wickett been rd withdrawn replaced by Coach craft 168.
197 Doncaster Eckington transferred to east midland.






202/203 Sheffield chesterfield joint with chesterfield transport now run by EB ex LE.
205 Sheffield rother valley park transferred to Sheffield and District.
206 Sheffield Dinnington Eve and sun service replaced by X6.
219 Sheffield Dinnington withdrawn replaced by equivalent journeys on 206.
240 Sheffield Bakewell Eve service withdrawn.
241 Sheffield Bakewell the surving journey withdrawn.
244 Sheffield bamford transferred to east midland (sun) and Trent (m-s).
252/253 Sheffield Eckington Beighton Sheffield. Slipt at Eckington now 252 Sheffield Beighton Westfield Eckington fir road (not beyond halfway Eve and sun) and 253 Sheffield coal Aston Eckington halfway (m-s daytime's)/killamarsh evenings and peak hours)/Norwood (2 m-f journeys).252 is run by GR 253 by HY.This largely returns these routes to their pre 1983 state.

258 Sheffield Thorpe Healey M-S peaks part service diverted by M1 instead of ecclesfield and numbered X58.
264 Rotherham Worksop Basic service taken over by Excelsior of Dinnington but syt continue to operate 3 M-S Halfway Worksop and one Beighton Worksop journey.
270/271 Sheffield wombwell Hemsworth 270 withdrawn.271 is reduced to an Eve and sun Sheffield wombwell service.At other times X71 provides a part replacement.Still joint syt/ ytc. Syt share now run from He ex EB.
272 Sheffield castleton joint with Trent all sun journeys now run by syt Derbyshire tendered service.
286 Sheffield Holmes field chaos reigns Sheffield and District are operating the basic service but Syt are also operating a two hourly service which is timed within a few minutes of S&Ds journeys this is understood to have arson as the result of misunderstandings between sypte and Derbyshire cc.
287 Sheffield maltby reduced to Eve and sun replaced by X7 at other times.
503/505 Dronfield quicklink service taken over by Sheffield and District.
X4 Sheffield Dinnington m-s frequency doubled to 30 minutes.
X6 Sheffield Dinnington m-f peaks gains an Eve and sun service replacing 206.
X7 Sheffield maltby m-f peaks now runs hourly.
X10 Sheffield clay cross m-s,X12 Sheffield Walton m-s, both joint with chesterfield transport withdrawn.
X11 Sheffield chesterfield joint with chesterfield transport M-S transferred to to EB ex LE.
X25 Sheffield bawtry Doncaster joint with east midland Doncaster bawtry section withdrawn, adequately covered by other services.all but one journey now operated by east midland.
X29 Sheffield halfway withdrawn And replaced by X54/X55.
X36 Rotherham Barnsley now operated by Richardson's.
X37-39 Sheffield Huddersfield Halifax.
X37 via chapeltown and birdsedge is withdrawn.
X38 via grenoside and Denny dale is split at penistone being operated by Richardson's from Sheffield and Yorkshire rider from Huddersfield.
Both sections are m-s as before.
X39 via chapeltown and Denny dale is run by syt and ytc m-s daytime and by east midland Eve and sun.
X48 Sheffield Manchester withdrawn.
X54 Sheffield Donetsk way waterthorpe halfway and X55 Sheffield Hackenthorpe waterthorpe halfway.X55 is X29 renumbered with alternate journeys rerouted as X54.
X64 Sheffield high green increased from m-s inter peak to daily.
X71 Sheffield wombwell darfield speeded up service of 271 run by He ex EB and by ytc wombwell depot
X91 Sheffield thurnscoe Eve and sun service now run by Richardson's.
