The 47,48 is part of first's overground network and runs on a combined frequency of every 6 minutes monday - friday daytime every 8 minutes combined saturdays and every 15 minutes combined frequency evenings and sundays.
It Serves
Herdings - Newfield (47) - Hemsworth (48) - Arbourthorne - (48) - Heeley (47) - Shoreham Street (47,48) - City - Pitsmoor - Fir Vale - Firth Park - Shiregreen (47 clockwise) (48 anti clockwise)

Actually i have waited for one on east bank road saturday and 3 buses came together and no one was on any of them they all catched the 132 which was infront then two 51 buses came behind aswell no wonder they moan they don't get any passengers.
