These vehicles have now been tracked down and are operating in the Retford area, as can be seen here www.lincstransportpics.fpic.co.uk/p34846773.html - that is CE52UWT working on the 92 Retford - Rampton service (though was laying over in Retford when pic was taken).

So that's where it went!
The Solo used on the 191 seems to be based in Sheffield- or at least I saw a white solo with the 191 on its display, trundling down the M1 last week! Just a bit of wasted mileage, then...

All the buses used on the A1/173/174/191 as far as i know are based in North Anston so what ever route there on they clock up a fair bit of dead mileage especially in the case of the 173/174. On the subject of the Veolia fleet havent a clue what was manning the A1 yesterday as i saw 2 of their plain white 'travel south yorkshire' solos out of service in sheffield interchange, the 3rd 1 was on the A1 so dont know what the other 3 buses were for that part of the day.

Seems stupid how they got away with it - used them for the first week and then moved them away! I thought the tender was specifically given on the basis that they were low floor?

Is the North Anston depot the MASS one? If so, why can't they use MASS's Finningley depot for a couple of buses, to save dead mileage?
On the subject of MASS- the Excel has re-appeared again!
