What happened to these vehicles once they were withdrawn from Stagecoach Hull when the 909 service between Hull & Sheffield was withdrawn a few years back? Here is a photo of one in Pond Street Bus Station,

Used to love riding on them when i was little, first ever bendy-bus I'd seen! Think that's what got me interested in the first place to be honest.

I really miss these vehicles, shame they took the 909 route off to, was a fab route over the Humber Bridge and down M180. Even though the M180 has got to be the most boring motorway I have ever been on in my life, these vehicles and routes just seemed to give it a bit of character ;D

That's why there's is bumpy tarmac on that motorway apparently, to keep drivers from falling asleep at the wheel because it's so boring!

Is it actually tarmac though, looks and feels more like concrete slabs! They also make a large roaring noise, probably stops you falling to sleep at the wheel I guess
