Thank for all the great feedback and glad to see that you all like the new and improved network maps. 23ladbrokegrove I will look further into detail about that.

23ladbrokegrove, I have been thinking about your proposal and we are not going to implement this. Also the maps have all been updated at my end ready for the April changes and will be added to the website from early April for viewing. There are some major changes and some new routes which have appeared on the network maps. Will not be adding them yet due to data still being fluid about the route changes and timetable changes.

Hi Sam,
On the Doncaster map, you have put Sanford Road and Tickhill Road Hospitals twice (on the 19/19a/22 routes). That's about it for the ends of town I know!
Liking the new logos by the way!

Updated Doncaster Map now online Ryan.
Also worth noting the updated maps have changed formats from .JPG to .PNG to allow better viewing quality and detail and also to allow it to load faster on slow connections, as the .PNG file is half the size of the .JPG file.

It still looks like the old one to me... could it be a problem on my end? I've cleared the cache but it still looks the same!
Cheers

It was uploaded yesterday evening and was online straight away for me. Did you refresh your browser Ryan? as that could have been the problem.

Very good maps as always Sam, have been over the Sheffield & Rotherham ones in depth as these are the areas where my knowledge on routes is the greatest and have noticed 1 slight mistake, if indeed it is a mistake. On the Sheffield map, in the Kimberworth area of Rotherham on the X78, you have placed "Kimberworth - Meadowbank Road" twice at the side of each other. I also see that you have incorporated service 10A into the Rotherham map and remodeled the Sunnyside area, which I have to say looks much better now. I just have one question, would it not have been better to incorporate new service 6 to Thorpe Hesley into the Pink Line rather than keeping it has the Turquoise line? It is been incorporated into the Pink Line by First South Yorkshire in April. Other than that I can not see any other faults and keep up the good work, if only the SYPTE could produce half as good maps as those we would be making progress, have you considered contacting the PTE to see if they want to use them? Certainly better than these ones, For a start they say that the 17 does not run in Sheffield City Centre and they mention that the 75/76 run to Hillsborough & Parson Cross! They also fail to mention that the X78 also serves Rotherham and they have the 45/46 has running a complete circular service from Sheffield to Sheffield via Firth Park. This is also the case on the destination screens in Sheffield Interchange and Meadowhall Interchange. Maybe SYPTE know the 45 & 46 is going to change soon, then again they have been like this since early January, so I doubt this is the case considering the January and April changes have now passed and full details are known. I know which one I prefer, and keep up the good work

Thanks for letting me know of that mistake Mainline. It should say Wilton Lane on one of them rather than them both saying Meadowbank Road. They will be updated for tomorrow afternoon.
The Sunnyside area was completely revised to almost the same as the First South Yorkshire cartography and I also added the 10a route into the map.
The 6 remains part of the 66 and X12 family to keep these routes showing on the map, as combined they provide a 15 minute peak time frequency between Rotherham and Brook Hill at Thorpe Hesley.
Thanks for the feedback so far and keep them coming.
Ta, Sam

The Barnsley Network Map has now been updated to show new routes 34/34a. The 34/34a have been incorporated into the new Beige Line which also features routes 33 and 52/52A which are also new routes that are now displayed on the Barnsley Network Map. Route 11 has now become the Brown Line (formally the Beige Line). The updated Barnsley Network Map can be viewed here - www.info.sy-transport.co.uk/maps/barnsley.htmPlease let me know if you spot any mistakes with either the updated Barnsley map or any of the maps on the website.
