The other one which I suspect not many people will remember is before the Lowedges estate was finished and current terminus for 76 /53 was built the services termanted outside the school , thats why there is a roundabout there.

in sypte days and before i presume 76s sometimes short ran to woodseats and i presume turned at the 26 terminus cemetry gates on abbey lane.
in dereg, at omnibus, we did 153s, tendered 53 extended from lowedges onto homesfiled.
the old night bus on the equivalent of the 41, before the nightriders started used to come down birley spa lane then turn back along springwater avenue and back up occupation lane.
something i enjoyed telling folks moaning about the buses that were diverted round springwater avenue when occupation lane was being resurfaced. imagine that at 2 oclock in the morning.

I know this is an old thread, but Ive just been thinking. What was the terminus points of the old 34/37?/38/39 and Sheafline 434/437?/438/439, around where I am-Upwell Street, Sandstone Road, Standon Road. Which ones went where? Ive found a picture of a 434 showing Margate Drive.
Thanks in Advance-Sean

What about the Ecclesall Road South terminus just before you get into Whirlow? It's got a bus stop in front of it that's still used but the terminus itself is a wooden shelter with a tiled roof.
