Following previous feedback with members who frequent the forum chatroom, we have now implemented a new section to the info centre which displays members who are currently logged into the chatroom. This works the same way as the previous JavaScript code did on the previous version of the forum. This can be viewed at the bottom of the info centre.

Pleaaase can you sort out having to log in EVERYTIME you come onto the forum even if this is within five minutes of that last visit.
If you want to reply to a thread and you didn't log in you get taken to the login screen and then back to home page and have to find the thread again.
Why can't you be kept logged in like before or for a reasonable period of time.

Using Opera 12.11 and no images are loading at all apart from some (but not all) avatars. Everything is working fine using Firefox, so I assume it is not a problem with my machine. Sounds like it is a problem with the browser rather than your machine. Will forward this info on to the main admin team at ProBoards for you. Regards, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport Just upgraded to Opera 12.14 and the problem seems to have gone away, so it probably was a browser problem - this sort of thing has happened before with Opera.

However if you click on the 'Remember Me' function when logging in, your account will remain logged in. Regards, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

Thanks for the update. We are aware of some slight bugs with IE7 and lower and Safari 3 and lower. These are all now browsers that are no longer supported by many sites, as well as this forum. Not been made aware of any problems with Opera previously and not come across any problems myself either. Will investigate it none the less. Regards, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

We're aware of a problem with the background image on the forum, where some members now can't view this and it has reverted to the default. This was done by mistake when carrying out routine maintenance on Tuesday evening and sadly no automatic fix is available. So if you would like to have the background image displayed on the forum follow these instructions:
1: Click on Profile on the menu bar 2: To the top right hand side of the profile box, click on the Edit Profile button 3: Then click on the tab called Settings 4: Scroll down to where a drop down menu appears under the title Forum Theme 5: Select SYT 6: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Account Setting.

I like how you can change your avatar without having to upload the photo to something like Photobucket and use the link. You can upload it from your computer. I wasn't aware that you could do this on the old forum?
