I can confirm that the running day will have a display of 8 or more First vehicles in Heritage liveries. Probably the biggest gathering of Modern heritage buses so far.

Very creditable first event , good selection of buses but needs more local publicity . To be fair we only got the go-ahead for this 10 weeks ago. It has been a major job just getting the event on at all in that time. Radio Sheffield did feature it on their news reports during the morning and sheffield star are going to ring back Next years date is set for Sunday 14th August 2016, and with a longer lead in, local publicity will be much better, and the Sheffield Star might have rung back by then.

It was good - busier than I was expecting - lovely turn out of vehicles too (seeing PMT liveried bus in Sheffield with "X18" on it took me back a bit!).
Glad to hear there's a repeat being organised - hopefully at the same location (useful to have somewhere with a nearby cash point for when you've bought too many things from the stalls.
Plus, I've got a tablet case made out of Mainline seat covering - what more do you want?
Only problem was that the smooth quiet modern E400H home from town felt rather underwhelming after the throaty Powells B10M from Millhouses back into town - now those were *proper* engines in those days - hard to get as enthusiastic about modern buses!

For an event organised within 10 weeks it's been the best local event in the last couple of years minus the First open days, an honest true credit to all involved in organisation. Who needs Aldwarke now?

Has anyone got any links to any pictures taken yesterday please? Sadly I was unable to attend the rally yesterday and I'm very interested to see the vehicles on show , so any pictures would be greatly appreciated!! Really please that next years is organised already and that this years sounds like it's been a success! Well done everyone who was part of it!
