I have never seen it as bad as this in 20+ years! Your question says it all really. The answer is, I didn't expect incompetence at quite this extreme level. That is why when we know what the final situation is, I shall be writing to SYMCA to explain that this is far from acceptable! They couldn't even be bothered to put up which buses were departing from which stands in Rotherham Interchange till around 10 days after the changes took effect. Has first considered diverting the X10 to serve part of the loss of service 114? Lot of elderly now can’t access a service on the Dovedale Road area. One a hour in each direction via Great Bank Road, Far Field Rd, Dale Rd, Dovedale Rd, Herringthorpe La, Browning Rd, Chaucer Rd, Dryden Rd back on route, and vice versa under X14 in daytime? Wouldn’t be that much hardship. A waste of time and effort as well as an inconvenience to the Folks that use the X10 currently. If they want a bus there best get on to the SYMCA and wait for them to reply. Its their job to provide socially desirable services not Firsts.

Wouldn’t call it socially desirable I would call it potential to pick up revenue if a reliable hourly diversion was created when demand is requested. Doesn’t the X10 weave in and out for this reason already?

Doesn’t the X10 weave in and out for this reason already? 1, the reason there is no service there currently is a lack of demand 2, the X10 has had its divergences reduced to make it more reliable and more attractive to customers.
