34241 still has the Harry Potter advert, it had this before the move to Olive Grove and on the return from Olive Grove over a year later it still retains this advert, have CBS forgot about this one, or can they just not get it off the bus.? It might be stuck on with SUPER SUPER SUPER.... GLUE! ;D

In regards to Bus Adverts, why is it that both the B7TL & B9TL Geminis have never had a Half Wrap, Full Wrap or Mega Rear placed on them like the ALX400's have?
With there now been more Geminis than ALX400's could this become more common in the near future?

Also does Doncaster have any Mega Rear adverts on the ALX400's and is 30878 the only vehicle in Rotherham to have a Mega Rear advert, which is for Pizza Hut, but is now out of date, due to Pizza Hut now been Pasta Hut .

Funny one that, CBS out door use a standard design which is printed with measurements for ALXs, Why they never did 31781-786 at olive is a mystery as they have been mentioned. I think the mark 1 Geminis are awkward with the top deck window layout. Only place I have seen Rear Mega adverts on Geminis is in London & Glasgow, not seen any in Leeds apart from the overall "Save the children" advert, which is the exact same as South Yorkshire's which is on ALX400 30562 at Olive Grove. The Transbus ALX400's did have adverts on them when new, but only the Doncaster ones, think it was 31781 which had the first Mega Rear advert for the South Yorkshire Speeding Cameras in the Green colour with Flowers on, then 31776 had the one for the Wedding Shop up in Woodlands until a few months ago and I think that is it for Doncaster and the Transbus ALX400's. Can remember seeing them when they were common sights in Rotherham when placed on the X78 service in the evenings & Sundays back in 2003 - 2005.

The Geminis look much better with the rear adverts than the ALX400's do.
In Doncaster & Rotherham, 30878 is the only vehicles to have a Rear Advert in place now.

Another contender for the vehicle with the longest advert on could be 37153 / YN06 URG which has had the same rear advert on since new, the one for Mintons with the Green foot, it was on when this vehicle was used by Rotherham back in June 2007 and was still on the vehicle today.

is that the faded one in between the decks? No, that is 37147 and is relatively new, only 5 months old and for Carcraft, 34241 at Rotherham also has this. Surprisingly it is not faded and still looks new. Saying that the 06 plated B7TL Geminis never seem to have updated adverts on them, they must be located in a part of Olive Grove that CBS can not get to.

Good idea, but a nice scrape down the side will soon wreck them

They do seem to be a very risky thing to put on the side of a single decker exactly for the reason given by traction25. One of those advert boards would be fantastic for doing route branding though properly (at least you could link to the destination display!)
However, in London we have them on some double deckers - when they were originally they were used to advertise Yell (the online version of the Yellow Pages directory). They were also fitted with GPS so that the advert managed to customise itself based on where the bus was on the route.

They are in London and Newcastle, surprised they are in Derby though and they do look rather nice.

The Geminis branded for Manchester's Green Line (Route 8) have full rear adverts promoting the service with a picture of a woman and the caption 'green is the new black'.
