We did joke about putting a B9 out but we only had 37479 spare-branded ;D I'm glad you can keep a sense of humour - it must be frustrating to have such a large garage, but so few spare resources, so that it only takes one thing to go wrong to upset things. For the cost of one Gemini the could spend a few quid on small improvements that'd be much more noticable to the passengers. Makes me wonder about the 6 though. There are no more Solo routes at Olive Grove, despite a few routes suited to them (hence my idea about the 3/4/84) - given how "standard" First like to keep things, how long will they want to keep a small number of Optare minibuses for one route? Don't mean to stir things, but... Thats why you get so many "wrong" types on other routes, for instance you only need to lose 3-4 53/06 geminis and have some on test and then there is an imbalance were you have to pinch low floors of other routes, then in the afternoon you get those on exam back but dont have the resources to put them onto 40/41/42 in time to meet schools so they end up on derbyshires/552.
