So to get something straight here, because one of your photos have not been chosen as the top 6, as part of this months selection (which as you are well aware, they have made it in previous months), you are now in a huff' and ranting about the poll being fixed? Well I've heard it all now... It's not simply because "one of my photos wasn't chosen for the top 6". Now that would be childish indeed. I don't want to get into an online argument - I am just saying that I think there might be something going on with the way they're chosen. As I have said before, that is MY opinion and NOT a fact. I have no proof and you do not have to agree with me. If you have any concerns about the poll, then please send them via PM to myself and I will address the problems in full detail. Okay - will do  |

You are disrespectfull to the rest of the Forums members who have submitted pictures I didn't think I was being disrespectful. But if I was, I sincerely apologize - that was not the intention. -not forgeting you have yourself had many selected for voting on. I am fully aware of that and I am grateful, but as I've just said, that's not the point I was making. Apart from dragging the Forum down you are making the whole voting process a mockery. I don't agree with that, but I apologize again. |

I'm going to put the kettle on and grab some custard creams. Turning out to be much better than Coronation Street or Emmerdale this thread with some of the more recent posts... Me too pass me a custard cream! I can tell you its not fixed, I have sent in pictures the last couple of months, the first none got picked and this month I do have a couple picked, I guess its just based on the quality and interest of the pictue. It dosnt give me much incentive to send in any more if people are coming on with comments about vote fixing etc...so no doubt it could affect any other members decisions to submit future pictures.... please bear this in mind. Keep up the good work Admin and Staff your doing a great job |

Without upsetting the person who send in Picture 3 (which if i am correct is andyrad), this photo should not have been included. As i said before we have already commented on it and seen it and said how good it was, but Admins correct me if i am wrong, it the first time since i have been a member that a photo which has been on the site, has also been used in the competition.. Now i know there is not much we can do about it this time, but it may be something that is remember from this month on. What i can say is running a Forum and being a admin is one of the hardest job you can do, you are no one friend, but plenty of peoples enemy's and if you think buses are hard, join the world of Eddie Stobart truck and then you do know what a war. |

To be honest 2101 yours is actually the better picture maybe its the content? I'm guessing I allready know the vehicle which will win Septembers poll (60604) maybe the pond street shot is just people remembering the good old days? depends on the age of the voters i suppose? |

I think the votes cast for that picture proves it was right to be included (are we to ban pictures for being "too popular"?). Or are you saying that pictures shouldn't be included if they have been discussed on the Forum previously? In which case none of the B10M pictures linked to in the past couple of days should be included next month? We've got a modern train in Doncaster as the current background picture. Before that (IIRC) we had an 04 reg bus in Barnsley (the Tates one in grey and turquoise). Now we may have a picture of old buses in Sheffield winning. I'd say that this was proof of variety (and AFAIK none of them were taken by Admin on here!) - and there's six good pictures to chose from here. |

The answer to your first part is yes and the proof to this is what andyrad has put in Reply 55, saying we know what is going to win next month. Well if we know what is going to win then why run the poll, it just wasting our time and the admins.
This is the problem that has come up and needs dealing with.
The down side to all this is people are going to stop sending photo's in and then we will have no photos.
As i said before the only people who can sought this out are the admins.
