Won`t work like that. Easiest way to think of it is a separate power controler and power clip to each loop of track.
A cheap way to get controlers is from the train sets you can buy or try one of the box shifters who break the sets and sell the bits separatly. Rails for example.

You will need 3 controllers and will also have to add some isolating clips on your crossovers from one loop to another. You can or could by a controller which had up to 4 controllers on it. You have not put what scale you are using, oo gauge, n gauge etc. One of the better controllers on the market are Gaugemasters they really control speed well. As Cheesystig says, Rails on Chesterfield Road is good as they sell second hand as well as new.

Yes they will do the job. You slide them between the Sleepers and Rail.

Looking good gaz. The one thing you have to remember is, it will never be finished. I am just altering mine, due to the fact i want a bus rally, now that Oxford Diecast have started to model N Gauge Buses, but some are not as good as other. Cannot wait for the Park of Hamilton coach later this year.

not much more to do now ive got several Y-Points to get and R628 curves then the track is complete, next job will be to start with the scenary. Just bought myself a Class 150 DMU today Sprinter and going to get a Class 153 Northern hopefuly in next few days. Up to now the track is coping ok in gargage with this heat been and tested it today no major problems with track buckling or lifting as it was about 40c in there today. I will post some pictures soon of the progress.

Now just fitted the R8076 y points only one more to get then the track is all done, just tring to come up with an idea to cover it on a night as the dust is settling on the tracks and causing it to run slow think im going to get some plastic sheets with some legs on and sit it on top. Attachments:

Have you got a old pair of curtains and no i am not being funny. My layout which is kept at my mums is cover with a pair of old curtains and seem to do the job nicely. Also never had a problem with heat buckling track and part of my old layout use to be in front of a window. Otherwise it is looking good.
