Stagecoach policy, no vehicle be left unattended waiting for recovery. Exactly how it always has been and how it should be. Difficult when you’ve got no one to do it and vehicles can be sat waiting for hours

I overheard two drivers chatting, suggesting the Walton part of the 90/90a might end up getting dropped by Stagecoach as it's not working well after the changes last year.
Has anyone heard anything conclusive about this? I'm hoping it was just a case of careless talk costs lives...

i had heard that to i always thought the 90 would have been better just going from chesterfield to creswell and have it run to creswell 7 days a week and in the evenings aswell i dont know when they will change it if they do change the walton end

The new ADL 400s have a very similar smell to B6 East Lancs Sprytes.

i had heard that to i always thought the 90 would have been better just going from chesterfield to creswell and have it run to creswell 7 days a week and in the evenings aswell i dont know when they will change it if they do change the walton end I'd say Chesterfield to Markham Vale. Keep it simple, no variations going to random places. Maybe divert via Highfield Road (5 route) between the Donut and Tesco, and tweak the 5 route to actually work.
As for Creswell, I'd extend the 1 beyond Whaley Thorns and loop back via Creswell and Clowne to Markham Vale.
Main question is what will we get if they do change Walton end - will they actually try something that has a chance of working, or throw their hand in and hope Hulleys can pick up the slack, like they have done with so many other services.
