Spotted one of the Peak Sightseer buses being towed back to Stonegravels yesterday afternoon. Wasn't close enough to catch the number but looking at tracking would suggest it was 18303 / WA05MGX. Back out today so can't have been anything too major.

No staff shuttles, no Transit vans, the tall bald headed man passed away recently but there hasn't been a dedicated 92 van in STI or RTI for a number of years. Said gentleman was a close friend of mine. I am sorry to hear of his passing, may he RIP. He always seemed very popular about the Interchange and was a well known face. Lance Bratley was a legend at First right from his driving days, assisting the Fleet Controller on nights, service support and parts fetching after he retired and went part time.

I was surprised to seen a Enviro HEV on Commercial Street last night in the old Green promotional livery from 2011. The little girl in the iPhone 4 picture on the back end must be old enough to smoke now! Haha.

36412 transfer to chesterfield Chesterfield or Ecclesfield? Last couple of days it's been tracking on Ecclesfield routes, having been at Rawmarsh prior. Or is this just a stop-off on the way south?

I am always advocating the longevity of buses but I will be glad when Stagecoach get rid of the Enviro fleet (not the MMCs, the nasty earlier builds). They're horrible cramped, characterless buses with terribly uncomfortable seats (unless you sit over the wheel arch). The MMCs on the other hand, are great buses, very comfortable and pleasant to ride on.

Whilst I agree with what you say, I think the only way to contact Mr hulley would be through a medium, he died a very long time ago and his response might be a bit limited, so if you wish to contact Mr hulley, It might take a while for him to reply, but dont worry, its not that he's ignorant.

Of course they will. I heard the RAF have sent 2 Typhoons out to provide cover from the air as well.
