Saturday, Northern 153331 and 153317 were working Leeds - Sheffield/Nottingham fast services.

I saw a 153 coming into platform 3A into Sheffield today. It must've either done the Lincoln line or a local stopper out through from Rotherham and beyond.

I saw a 153 coming into platform 3A into Sheffield today. It must've either done the Lincoln line or a local stopper out through from Rotherham and beyond. Would this have been about 09:30? There's a Scunthorpe - Sheffield services around that time - and the 153 works off yesterday's Barton Line shuttle (running light to Scunthorpe to commence the duty the morning after, so that Barton Line units get back to civilisation for maintenance/ fuelling etc) |
