As ever, great stuff!
MANOR PARK was for short working 92's (another destination that should have remained on the blinds - indeed the last vehicles to get blinds with it on being the 1977/8 Alexander Fleetline's).
That's a potential thread - different names given to the same terminus (that was "Fishponds" when Eager Beavers ran the 92) - in the way that the 31 terminated at "Lower Walkley" whilst the 17 terminated at "Hillsborough" (despite them both being Forbes Road)...
Yes, quite bizarre, but it was in the staff instructions and the PTE and STD (and to some aspects, SYT) were quite reluctant to upset the apple cart. As you say, LOWER WALKLEY was the same place as Forbes Road, even to the extent that when dd's were used after de-reg (because Herries engineering didn't want any more Nationals in the garage, and they couldn't fit in the bays) it was added to the blind. We made an effort to change this in publicity, but, traffic specified the blinds and that was that!
Something a bit different today. These are oddments of blinds, mainly Swift's (a blind I wouldn't mind having a full list of - it's also called the Sheffield 'B' blind - can you believe I forgot to get it when I was young!) and instead of being in order, I've decided to list each one, followed by it's use.
