Be better to keep it rather than having a fleet of solos in my opinion The YT solos are some of the best examples around. Nothing at all like the crap First have round here. the 05 plate ones we have at barnsley (one away for paint) with the Cummins engines are brilliant. The 59 mercedes engine ones are good but require constant turbo pipes and radiator maintenance...the 03 and 51 plates we have (temporary) are utter scrap.

It is tendered as there are not enough passengers to run it commercially. This means small vehicles run with few passengers on. Why would they use larger vehicles?

Tiger at barnsley have a few mini e200s on loan and parked up in the depot is a double decker in arriva livery couldn't catch the reg though

Passed an Arriva decker @ Adwick on Dearne this afternoon on School service. Think reg was PN52 XRV.
