a few of the Dennis Darts (ex-Doncaster) have been appearing on 30 and 28 routes, though 28 was Volvo B6's and 30 was B10M-55's

The thing to remember is that the 30 is interworked with the 27 so the same buses from Rotherham (and Olive Grove in the evenings) will be operating them both, which means it won't be unlikely to see B10Ms, Olympians or the ex-Doncaster Darts (and that Olive Grove Merc that seems to keep popping up during the evenings).
Also on the 27 - 60591 N754 CKY B10M leaving Rotherham at 15.45 on Weds 21 Feb. I thought this was a Doncaster bus and reserved for the X78. I'm guessing not considering it was on this route.
And on the 25 - 60640 T822 MAK B10BLE leaving Rotherham at 17.00 on Fri 23 Feb. Unusual to see a B10BLE on this route especially considering I saw a low floor dart on the 10 at the same time (normally the dart would be on the 25 and the B10BLE on the 10).

Just to like thank Tom B for starting this thread. Its something I have considered starting as this board was lacking a place to record unusual workings without starting a new thread for each unusual working. A few unusual workings from the past week from memory:
19/02 N*JBV Olympian on 552 and ALX400 on p.m 51 Wyming Brook working. 23/02 Rotherham solo on 21 in Sheffield.
Have also noted an increase in 120 branded vehicles operating on 52s in past week (almost on a daily basis) and to less of an extent 52 branded dafs on the 120.

Indeed, things will settle down and buses (as opposed to bus types) will start to get allocated again. I can't see the 81/82 being allocated the YN53' batch frankly, but i can't really see what difference there is. Normally we get the B7's are crap comment, but today we're squabbling over buses a couple of years apart.
Some people are never satisfied!!
As for non-LF OverGround services, yep 80 and X78 are it for Sheffield, though of course less so in Rotherham and Doncaster. The X78 is obviously due new kit, but the 80 is a different animal altogether.

Normally we get the B7's are crap comment, but today we're squabbling over buses a couple of years apart. Some people are never satisfied!! Well I can't quite explain why, I just prefer the YN53s, but its not simply because they're a bit newer, they just seem superior to me (but that's just my opinion, not a squabble!). Any "B7s are Crap" comments I have made do not apply to these. As for allocations, seen nothing out of place today. Spotted an awful lot of ex-Silver Service G-NWAs up my end of town (at least 4, probably 5) but they were all on B10M routes, so just a coincidence. Some daft allocations I can think of that happened recently*, was a JDZ dart on the 81, a Powells low floor R-UOT dart on the 82, a couple of Merc Varios (82 again), and a Dominator on the 87 (now I don't usually get travelsick but Greystones Road was quite a ride!). Also TM and Doyles regularly stick branded stuff on the 65/214, with TM's beign a 46-branded Vario and Doyles having a pair of branded MPDs that keep turning up. *EDIT: recently = in the last few months

Eh? A dommo?!
Didn't spot anything truly unusual - for once the 205 duty was a Solo, and there was a 55 on the B10M.

Unusual workings from Monday:
B10BLE 60673 (T855 MAK) branded for the 53 on 552.
B10BLE 62244 (Y952 CSF) on 94 yesterday evening! I wonder if this has been transferred OG to Halfway or whether OG now operate some workings on 94/95? (I know last week it was reported that OG drivers are used on 94/95 but with Halfway vehicles.)

Unusual workings spotted yesterday (Monday)
T823 MAK - 21 Rotherham - Sheffield S531 UAK - 21 Sheffield - Rotherham
Can't complain though, it's nice to have LF's on the 21 for a change even if it's a one-off

LFs do escape onto the 21 frequently.
Re. the previous post - 53 bus on 552 a bit poor, although only a peak extra on the plus side.
The 94/95 is now a split working with OG now operating several workings. I believe that '781-6' were returned to OG at the start of this arrangement (which started over a week ago) and although these are allocated in theory, in reality it can be any LF SD. 62243 was on, on Saturday for example.
For anyone who is keen eyed, you will also see an Olive Grove Gemini (hopefully!) on the 41 at night for one specific working. This is the 2400 out of City to Halfway for reference and workings before that. The other day for example this was 37150. I should also point out that it should be an unbranded one!
