easier solution surely to just keep the fun and just remove the user causing all the issues? I agree thats a better solution, I thought mine being more a compromise I third this! Warning after warning after warning after warning isn’t working.

I don't need such a junior member telling me that I am a troll. I know what I am and what I do and I bring a lot to this forum. The fact you think every thread is dominated by me is a sign that I keep the forum alive. I'm now well on my way to becoming a Traffic Manager. I don't need you to tell me what this forum is supposed to be about. How would I know if you made a typing mistake? There is an edit button on posts. A traffic manager? 😂 Got your gold badge yet?

The 400 MMCs are now providing public address information, both aural and visual. Each vehicle is kitted out with Visaton speakers and electronic information screens. A female voice (Slight Derbyshire accent, perhaps recorded at Stonegravels?) now welcomes customers onboard and announces the next station stop, as does the information screens.

Cant see First having any worries complying. The destination set-ups are being changed to, to show to City/From City on routes, some other part route/snow diversions have gone. Unfortunately the announcements have to be of a certain volume, so there will be drivers struggling with hearing issues in the future.

I was only on the bus for about 10 minutes and it did become rather annoying. In my opinion, a better solution would have been to provide headphone jacks for those that want to listen/require aural information, such as the disabled. That probably wouldn't meet the stipulation of the legislation though, so Stagecoach's hands are probably tied. Atleast it's better than the god awful voice that Northern use on their trains. She did pronounce Lydgate Lane wrongly though, it's pronounced Lijet, not Lied-gate.

We are now approaching Manchester Road - Lydgate Lane. This is the Mainline Silver Service to City VIA Broomhill

In all honesty though, the audio announcements are great for those who aren’t local to the area / can’t see where they are etc to help them find which stop they need.
Not sure a headphone jack does the same job - but if it gets too annoying, you could always wear headphones on your commute.
As you mention, it’s the same on trains - and the announcements are better there than not.
