Never thought that Sheafline operated any local services in Rotherham (19 Thurcroft) as depictated by one of the images in that gallery. By the way, didn't the livery before the former West Midlands colour scheme came into widespread use, actually use to be pink - or am I thinking of another operator here? West Midlans colour scheme? Sheaflines Blue/White/Red was around well before that ever came out. Sheafline/SUT ran the 19/219 Rotherham-Dinningtons as well as the 44 Sheffield-Greasborough/Wath on top of the various Sheffield/Aston/Treeton/Dinnington etc services.

Andy, are you sure it was a bus museam open day. I know they use to park some of them in Weedon Street then, so as to clear the yard.

They were parked in the yard over night however if the musuem had to get stuff out then they ahd to park them on the road there were imense problems with access to the musuem and a lack of co opeartion when it became a sub shed of Chrlotte Road.

Can't have lasted long on it (?) - the route between City and Handsworth was similar to the current 32?

On one of the Museam Open-day December 1989, 3 Sheafline Buses parked on Weedon Street. The one in front is UCO 45L.
