Charlotte road again in Feb1990... this was in SUT days, can anyone remember if this scammel was owned by them or not? The Scammell was part of the NTE/ATL empire-maybe towing the National to the ATL Hellaby depot for repairs etc which were common at the time. ATL were SUT/National Travel East/Yelloways and Excelsior which also became the main Neoplan dealers. The owner Tony Lavin and his son Chris have only recently passed away.

I recognise that picture... 151 PWW 710R-came to Sheffield & District in full Yorkshire Woollen livery then became SUT 151. Seen at Tinsley on loan to Sheafline from SUT.

NHL566M in Tinsley in 1990... Memorys!! the haunt of the youthfull Captain!. Nationals here were usually on MT prep or getting the camshafts overhauled, other maintenance was further up the shop on the 3 pits with the paint booth behind those.

The 206/215/221 were inherited from Sheffield & District and the 206 lasted right up until 1999 as the X6 at Greenland Road. The 221 spawned the 222 and run from Halfway using Varios, these days only parts such as the 32/X14/X15 cover the old route. The 215 did pass to Northern bus.

Was that the 221 Treeton/Swallownest service by any chance?
