....no Dominators at Sandtoft now. When i enquired , i was told it was a trolleybus museum , and they dont have room for their whole collection , without housing anymore modern diesel buses !!! Only the Dom trolleybus 2450 is there now, pushed in a corner and very rarely used , due to its "modern" technoligy !!!! Basically all the 60+ year old trolleybuses can run round day after day with no problems , but as soon as 2450 is "wired up" , some sort of safety device kicks in / or bleeps ect every 5 mins , and becomes so annoying , it is not worth the trouble of using it ! When one prob is sorted , another pops up ! That and the constant screeming of the lorry power steering pump also - which is ironic as the bus adorns the lettering " The Quiet Revolution in Transport " - it happens to be the noisiest ever !!!! ;D

Two of the Dominators which were at Sandtoft are at a secret location, which Sandtoft use for storage, along with some other stuff. Sorry i will not say were it is, as we have been asked not to.

I was talking to the director at Sandtoft the other week, both Doms are reported to be in good condition and I know where they are stored too-this could be a secret that gets into unexpected(but still trustworthy) hands!

I think to be fair a lot of people on different groups know where it is, it just a simple fact we don't broadcast it.

This is kinda linked-Last Saturday around 10:30, I saw a Silver and Red Coach turn up Norfolk Row? from Arundel Gate-it looked old and looked to be one who has a front double axle.

Noticed around 2 weeks ago that the 5th Avenue Limousines Atlantean has moved from outside the SYTT buiding, would guess it has gone inside for the winter.
