A lot of work been done at SYTM today.
All the floor has been fully released out of 322 (SUT coach) after we removed the back piece where the emergancy door and boot is and it was not easy! Trying to get every piece out in one to make it easier for making a template for the new floor.
188 has had the radiator put back on a few weeks since and has been stripped for repainting.
116 has had the cieling upstairs painted I believe.
A lot of other work has been done, since the last open day it has been very productive and worth a visit in March.

Ex SYPTE Atlantean 1781/JKW281W arrived at Aldwarke on a Quickmissions wagon this morning. I saw it on Fitzwilliam Road and suspected that is where it was headed. What is the reason for its transfer to Aldwarke? Reason for Editing: question changed

1781 is owned my the same person as 1756. Makes sense for them both to be in the same place. I was told it was going for work and will be restored.

As with all vehicles down there , many thanks for the pics of entering the premises - when will we see some finished products emerging apart from sold on I couldn’t have put it better myself transit, the Tinsley ‘black hole’ has become the final destination for far too many of South Yorkshire’s iconic buses. I had to laugh when I saw this picture on Flickr of Felix 42 being put into shame by Sheffield 874, Felix 42 and Sheffield 874 by gareth388, on Flickr It seems the irony of parking them side by side is lost among the ranks of Tinsley. The AEC Alexander 874 Group surely cannot be proud to see their fine and beautifully restored vehicle being lined up for comparison with a bus that has spent the last 34 years in a field.
